First we took out all of the original patio. Then we put down a new hardcore border with a weed protective membrane underneath.
We installed new Charcoal paved border all around the perimeter of the patio. Then we filled the area with wet cement and after drying completely, we topped it with hot industrial bitumen.
Finally we spread the decorative stone chippings over the surface and pressed them in to create a strong, bonded surface.
